In recent years, the emergence of the haze let people feel the seriousness of the current environmental problems. The state has adopted a series of measures to solve the problem of air pollution, and the increasingly stringent emission standards are prompting more and more coal fired power plants to make higher requirements on pollutant emissions. SCR system of thermal power plant is mainly used to reduce NOx emissions. In the SCR system, the speed of gas, the concentration of fly ash and the uniformity of ammonia nitrogen mixture will affect the efficiency of denitrification and the service life of catalyst. This paper studies field operation optimization experiment for selective catalytic reduction device of an 660 MW ultra supercritical unit in a power plant,by means of numerical simulation and site experiment, to know the reason of un-distributed abrasion of catalyst was suggested. In this paper, the flow field of SCR system is simulated and designed by using CFD software. The velocity field and concentration field of flue gas entering the catalyst are studied. In the problem of ammonia escape from the catalyst inlet, the ammonia flow rate is improved by using the method of non uniform injection scheme, and increasing the flow rate of ammonia flow. On the basis of this, the field denitrification system is transformed, and the test results of the experimental tests are carried out to verify the reliability and validity of the simulation results.
