With the rapid development of China's economy, and change the pattern of global energy, energy saving has become an important force policy in many countries. Oilfield Power Grid has a certain particularity, in the power load in the inductive load ratio is relatively high, so the oilfield power grid has active power loss and power characteristics of poor quality. Therefore, oil and gas production enterprises and power supply enterprises how to improve power factor, reduce the power loss of oilfield power network, the oilfield power grid can be stable and reliable, safe and economic operation has become an urgent need to solve the problem. Based on this, this paper with the actual situation of the oilfield power grid based, to reactive power compensation theory as the support, in Daqing oil field power system as the research object, of oilfield power gird no configuration optimization and application of reactive power compensation launched a special study, through the construction of Oilfield Power Grid Reactive Compensation optimization case, achieve energy saving, improve the quality of power supply, improve power supply.Firstly, characteristics of oilfield power grid and power loss due to high rate of oil was analyzed, and the basic concepts of reactive power compensation of reactive power compensation and advantages, and the influence of the reactive power in the power system of oil field are discussed, the data model and the calculation method of power flow calculation of distribution network are introduced; then in the oilfield power grid reactive power compensation is based on the theory of optimal reactive power compensation model and the design of oilfield power grid, the model of objective function and constraint conditions are determined, and the introduction of differential evolution algorithm to optimize reactive power compensation based on a very wide range of applications in other areas, the basic principle and working process of the algorithm is discussed.
