But these methods either can’t improve the dispersed phase distribution uniformity degree or lack of industrial prospect of large-scale preparation. In the field of materials gradually put forward by emulsion polymerization method prior to dispersed particle implantation reaction system and polymerization, then get the composite polymer material through polymerization reaction, but in the emulsion system to find a fine and economic way to solve solid particle agglomeration is still in situ emulsion polymerization the core problem, so how in emulsion polymerization system to cachieve fine particle dispersion is a hot research field in recent years.The research group of octadecylamine polyoxyethylene (5) oxide (tertiary amine oxide, r abbreviated AO-1805), the early use of AO-1805 as a surfactant and a emulsifier for emulsion polymerization, with styrene as monomer, water as continuous phase, before the implantation of modified solid particles (i.e. modified emulsion polymerization microcrystalline cellulose and modified silica), the reaction in situ emulsion polymerization. Systematically investigates and researches on the preparation process of polymer composite material,polymer structure,polymer molecular weight,distribution,and properties of composite polymer materials were examined by GPC, FT-IR, NMR, DSC, POM.In the dispersed phase system found that change of 3% of the solid particle adsorption AO-1805 or 4% of the compound surfactant (AO-1805 and 1831) can be maintained in the emulsion system stable dispersion, polymerization conversion rate can reach 70% around. And this system of the preparation of polystyrene molecular weight can still reach millions more, belongs to the high molecular weight polystyrene, molecular weight distribution between 1.6-1.9. In the structure, the polymer for the preparation by this system is atactic polystyrene. And through polarizing microscope observation can be clearly seen from the solid particles dispersed.After analysis found that solid particles after added into composite polymer,the material thermal decomposition temperature has been improved, from an initial 350℃ rose to nearly 400℃,and also blend the product into the ABS resin, can still small amplitude improved Vicat softening temperature. Although the heat resistance has been improved,meanwhile melt flow properties become go to decline.In situ polymerization system, AO-1805 in which both the surfactant to modify the surface of nano materials and the maintain emulsion polymerization system of micelle formation. And AO-1805 with its own nitrogen-oxygen reactive group, has laid a stable the role of free radicals in the free radical initiator system, provides a new direction of in-situ emulsion polymerization system. |
