The mine in our country has a large of production and be used widely. Underground transportation as the main part of coal-mining industry, making equipment of transportation have a large percentage in coal-mining machinery equipment. The energy saving and safety of the equipment and the advanced extent of technology all have an important effect on coal-mining production. With the development of coal-mining industry, how to design and how to type the drive system of mining transportation equipment becomes a important subject in the construction of the mine.Mining electric locomotive is the most common auxiliary transportation equipment in mine in our country, which use the DC motor drive system mostly at present. As a result of commutator and brush, the DC motor is very easy to wear and produce sparks. Switched Reluctance Motor as a rising star, has a lot of advantages, such as simple structure, strong and durable, speed performance, high efficiency, and large torque. And the SRM can direct drive or drive system with level transmission. Compared to AC variable frequency speed regulation system, the SRM has a good cost performance. So the SRM should have good prospects if applying to the mining electric locomotive.This paper is based on a Three-phase 6/4 switch reluctance motor, which has a 15 kW power rating,250V rated voltage and 1190 r/min rated speed. In this topic, the author designed a SRM control system for mining electric locomotive, which takes the TMS320F28335 DSP controller as its core. The system adopts the double closed-loop control strategy. The outer ring which can adjust the speed of PI and the inner ring control the current chopping. Combined with the actual condition and requirements of mining working, the system uses Hall sensor position detection. And in order to determine the initial position of the motor and optimize the commutation angle, it uses the Hall signal to start the motor and then switches to the mode of angle position commutation. At the same time, the braking function for power loss is designed in this paper. If the power supply contact network loss of power, the motor will automatically switch to the mode of regenerative braking, so as to ensure the safe operation of the mining electric locomotive.After determining the control schemes of SRM, this topic creates the actual controller according to the circuit designed by system hardware. And then charts the program of DSP through the flow of the software design to make the control schemes be realized. The test of motor shows that the control effect is good, and the loading operation test displays that the driving system has large static traction torque, high running efficiency and small vibration, which can meet the design requirements. It is proved that it is feasible to apply this control system to mining electric locomotive. The control system in this topic has realized the application of switched reluctance motor in the field of mining transportation equipment, and it will provide some references to the design and application for other motor control system.
