In today's society, with the rapid development of economic society and the continuous progress of science and technology, people pay more and more attention to the issue of safety and environmental protection. Wrought aluminum alloy wheels have the characteristics of high strength and light weight, which can achieve the goal of lightweight and wide application prospect. Wheel hub as a load-bearing part of the car, the car is very important to the safety of the car. Automobile hub size more, in order to shorten the product development cycle and reduce development costs of the products to ensure high strength of the aluminum alloy wheel hub, accelerate the upgrading of products, on the wheel hub production research and development is very important. In this paper, the main research contents of forging aluminum alloy wheel hub are as follows:First, start from the aluminum alloy wheel hub parts of the map, to meet the national standards for hub based, according to theory of forging and die forging forming, develop aluminum alloy wheel forging the whole process, to determine the process parameters in each step of the process. The forging process consists of two steps, pre forging and finish forging. After the forging process, the forging process is finished.Second, using SolidWorks 3D modeling software, the model of aluminum alloy wheel in two processes of pre forging and finish forging is modeled. The stress-strain curves of aluminum alloy 6061 under different temperature and different strain rate are analyzed by DEFROM software, and the temperature range of 6061 forging of aluminum alloy can be determined.Third, 3D model into software deform, finite element model is established, after mesh, material definition, setting operation driving conditions, analytical solution, respectively on the aluminum alloy wheel hub forging process of the pre forging and finish forging numerical simulation obtains the pre forging and finish forging process of metal flow pattern, temperature field distribution, stress distribution and the load stroke curve. The feasibility of the technique is analyzed through the analysis of numerical simulation results.Fourth, according to the results of numerical simulation and on the aluminum alloy wheel hub forging process of optimization analysis, and the optimized process is simulated, and the optimization of the numerical simulation results are analyzed and compared, and Forging Aluminum alloy wheel hub optimal process parameters were determined.
