The Openness Design Of Household Goods

With modern day developments, our pace of life is ever increasing at a fast rate. Our eating habits and living environment has subsequently changed extensively.In my research, younger people who are just entering into their new careers have a much reduced personal living space.In this paper I focus on what possibilities exist to improve their useful living space and function of open furniture design, which could hopefully fully provide a more comfortable and harmonious life for them.In redesigning the present day products with a more inclusive, combinative, functionary and sustainable design, it could make young people more adaptive to a modern lifestyle. It can also meet their individual personal practical requirements and spiritual needs.The paper is divided into two parts. Firstly, Analysis of young people’s way of life,on that basis put forward the main component, methods and researching significance of this research subject. I analyze the products material, colour and shape to summarize their advantages and disadvantages. Secondly, from using the knowledge of present products and previous studies, i.e use of function, material and colour, I integrate new design ideas by making models and verify possibilities of implementing them into a plan for future use.
