Stamping industry is a foundation for modern machinery manufacturing industry, almost all of the metal materials need to be processed before using. Stamping process has an important role in metal forming process. Stamping products are widely used, including home appliances, automotive manufacturing, aerospace, instrumentation and equipment fields, etc.The stamping industry is characterized by a higher rate of work-related injuries, serious work environment noise and pollution. According to estimates in stamping industry, there are more than one thousand large and medium-sized stamping production lines in the pearl river delta region, which result labor shortage problems, realizing the automation of stamping industry is one of the basic ways to solve this problem. To solve problems above, this paper developed a four axis manipulator which achieve parallel moving and fast stamping to realize automatic feeding and conveying.According to on-the-spot investigation, it learned the working environment and production process of outdoor grill chassis parts and the modules of a multi connection machine stamping production line, recorded feeding and conveying time of workers, had access to relevant information, analyzed the characteristics of stamping process and the existing type of manipulators. And then, this paper designed according to the technical requirements.First of all, this paper analyzes the process of outdoor grill chassis parts, introduces the punching process of parts and the structure characteristics of punching machines so that we can have a preliminary understanding of stamping automated production lines, this provide theoretical basis for structure design of the manipulator.Secondly, in view of the current situation and problems of the stamping production in company, the overall scheme of the stamping manipulator is put forward. Then, according to the design idea, the structure of the manipulator body and the transfer station is designed, and the three-dimensional modeling is carried out by using the 3D software Solidworks. And I use Workbench ANSYS software to carry on the static analysis to the important parts in order toguarantee its performance requirements. According to the needs of each module, servo control,vacuum components and ball screw standard parts were selected and calculated. After completion of assembly parts processing, identify problems and solve them in the assembly process to avoid problems in the debugging and running process later.Finally, the transverse vibration of synchronous belt drive system is analyzed and studied,the maximum deformation of the transmission system is gotten by using ANSYS Workbench software and then compared with experimental results. On the premise of satisfying the requirements of static strength, harmonic analysis is applied to obtain sixth-order resonance frequency. Through the above analysis and design, stamping manipulator meets technical requirements in terms of position accuracy, speed and efficiency, and successfully developed a fully automatic stamping manipulator.
