With the development of manufacturing industry,It is an urgent need to improve product quality and precision. Through strict control of manufacturing environment,increase the machine components and the overall stiffness, measures of improving the manufacturing and assembly precision, still cannot meet the requirements of machining precision machine tool, machine tool error creating. In the NC machine tools of various error sources, thermal error and the error of the geometric error as the major, so reduce the error of the two is a key to improve the machining accuracy of machine tools.Geometric error is relatively stable, prone to error compensation,thermal error compensation technology is relatively difficult to overcome, so the compensation for thermal error of NC machine tools, can improve the level of processing of the machinery industry, to promote the progress of science and technology and enhance the comprehensive national strength of our country.Based on the theory of multi-body system kinematics theory, considering the actual situation of multi-body system established error model of CNC machining center,identify the main error(geometric error and thermal error) and the thermal error compensation method is put forward. Modern vocational and technical college in Beijing HATING GX1000 three coordinate NC machining center as an example, the concrete model was established based on multi-body system theory and parameter identification, and the thermal error compensation process, verify the validity of the compensation. Using the method of multi-body system geometric description of geometric error modeling and multiple linear regression method for thermal error modeling, and implements the 30 error identification, for the error analysis provides a set of feasible research methods. NC machine tools system thermal error modeling methods and optimal placement of the temperature measuring points on the precision of compensation plays an important role, for HATING GX1000 CNC machining center to carry out the analysis of thermal error compensation of CNC machining center, using the two aspects of hardware compensation and software compensation,optimizing the four temperature measuring point, real-time measuring the temperature,as the input value of the error parameter identification model and the thermal error compensation is realized. Eventually determine the data can be showed that the precision of the machine tool error compensation on average increased by about 60%.Show the effectiveness of thermal error compensation.
