Manufacturing embodies the level of productivity of a country, is the difference between developing countries and developed countries.Our country is in a critical period of expanding domestic demand and industrial transformation, but at present,the technical level of NC machine tool have a large gap with developed countries.At the same time, as a national defense strategy of equipment, some developed countries controlled the high performance CNC machining center as a strategic materials control, restrict imports in China.Studies the key technology of five axis machining center, the formation of high-performance localization and series of five-axis machining center, the development of five-axis machine tool, to meet the needs of the manufacturing production as a whole。This paper mainly studied the structure design of rotary table of five-axis machining center. It relied on the projects of BMEIMT Co., LTD. The paper has mainly discussed the arrangement of rotary table. Based on the production request, a proper arrangement has been chosen. In order to improve the machining rigidity, one new hydraulic locking mechanism has been proposed. To design a new adjustment for Dual-lead worm gear based on the driven of rotary table of XKR50 A five-axis machining center. Taking the five-axis machining center as example, the paper focused on the detailed design of core component-rotary table. Maked the element analysis for the C-axis box on Ansys workbench.Finally, checked the geometry and location accuracy of the five-axis machining center.
