Coal conveyor scraper is part of the long axis forgings, its structure is complex, the traditional processing technology is casting, but artifacts due to casting process is internal porosity defects such as shrinkage, lead to casting, short service life scraper is easy to break. Die forging technology can keep full flow of the metal, workpiece with less internal defects has good performance and long service life. Domestic scholars have certain research of die forging technology of scraper, but the scraper forging process of the whole system have relatively few research literature.Based on a study of die forging technology of big scraper, the parting surface is not in a plane, the forming is difficult. This paper made the process flow of scraper, forging scraper mould design, mould design mainly includes the parting surface position, draft Angle, the design of the radius, flash tank etc. Calculated two different billet with two different calculation methods, the specifications contain the cylinder of a diameter of 80 mm and a diameter of 80 mm, 85 mm and 75 mm of variable cross-section. Based on two blank forming process is simulated, the results show that equivalent stress and strain are uniformly distributed, that variable cross-section type blank forming the flash of the scraper is lower than cylindrical blank forming by the scraper. Finally the initial temperature of the billet in the process of scraper die forging, forging speed, friction factor and other process parameters are optimized, when the initial temperature for 1200, forging speed for 20 mm/s, the friction factor for 0.3, forming the best effect, equivalent stress and strain well-distributed, mould by minimum load. Research ideas and results of this paper can provide theoretical guidance for practical scraper of manufacturing processes.
