Penicillin is the most widely used with the longest history,which belongs to bio-fermentation drugs in the pharmaceutical industry.In producing penicillin,it have a serious impact on the environment that discharge a large number of fermentation exhaust containing the volatile organic compounds(VOCs).The study on characteristics and VOCs treatment technology of fermentation exhaust has not been reported.In this paper,the pollution characteristics of the fermented exhaust were studied by using investigation and testing of the pollution source,and the health risk assessment model.Studed the adsorption and desorption properties of typical VOCs on modified zeolite molecular sieves by static dynamic adsorption/desorption experiments in the lab and experiment.The main content is as follows.1)23 kinds of VOCs were detected in the fermentation exhaust from orducing penicillin,14 kinds of substances had carcinogenic effects on people,which the main typical pollutants were vinyl acetate(C4H6O2),dichloromethane(CH2Cl2);2)On the base of explored the static adsorption properties and BET/SEM,NaY molecular sieves with a good VOCs adsorption were selected from 13 X,HY,NaY Na-ZSM-5 molecular sieves,which were prepared by impregnation method.Furthermore,researched adsorption properties and characterization of series NaY molecular sieves soaked with the Cu2+,Fe2+,Mn2+,Ag+ solution by BET,XRD,SEM and ICP,in which Cu/NaY,Ag/NaY have better framework,metal morphology,metal loading,and adsorption properties than Fe/NaY,Mn/NaY.The dynamic adsorption results studied that the adsorption capacity of Cu/NaY molecular sieve is higher than that of Ag/NaY molecular sieve.The activation energy of desorption of Cu/NaY molecular sieve by thermogravimetric analysis(TGA)showed that the desorption peak temperature tends to increase with the increase of heating rate;3)Molecular sieves wheel enrichment device were used in the industrial test equipment.The results showed that the purification efficiency of VOCs was over 90%,and the exhaust concentration reached the national and local emission standards.This has practical significance for the purification of VOCs from fermentationexhaust.
