Layout Optimization Of Noodle Packaging Workshop

In the fierce market competition environment,China's economy is facing a huge challenge to the economic transformation,and more enterprises realize that digging a third source of profit and reducing logistics cost is the key to win in the competition.Some ways to improve logistics,such as reasonable layout of facilities and logistics lines smooth,are important to reduce costs and improve the competitive advantage in the manufacturing enterprise,especially in the enterprises which produce many varieties and small batch production s.In this paper,the Production Logistics System of the noodle packaging production workshop of Y Company is taken as the studyobject.From the aspects of production logistics organization,process flow,facility layout and material handling process,the paper finds that there are many problems in the high logistics intensity,the logistics line confusion,and the lengthy logistics line which are mainly caused by unreasonable layout of the facilities.In view of the irrational layout of Y company's facilities,the paper uses industrial facility theory and SLP method to optimize the layout of the workshop facilities and conduct a contrast v erification of the optimized scheme.The main research works of this paper is as the following:First,the paper introduces the situation of Y company's packaging production workshop,analyzes the product characteristics,production process and technology of Y company's packaging workshop,and points out that there are some problems such as logistics line confusion,long route and high intensity.T he main reason is that the initial layout of the facilities can not keep up with the late development of the enterprise requirements,which causes the new facilities and equipment can not be rational placed.Then,this paper mainly uses the theory of S ystematic Layout Planning(SLP)to systematically analyze,diagnose and optimize the production layout of the compan y's facilities.T hrough the adjustment of noodle packing materials area,paper packaging production area and auxiliary area,a number of alternative layout schemes were formulated for the purpose of saving space and optimizing the layout.Finally,the paper compares the efficiency of the area utilization,mercantile rate of return,distance of logistics and so on,evaluates the schemes by means of the evaluation of logistics quantity and the Weight Grade Method,selects the final feasible plan through verification.
