As urbanization progressed, more and more large-scale shopping malls had been built in the city, and were usually located in the commercial center of the city. The towering office buildings, residential buildings, etc. accumulated at its periphery, because of complex layouts of building and super high flow of people, these region's density of population was very great. Once the emergency occurred, such as fire, earthquake, gas leak, etc., people live in the region would face a great threat, and because of the high density of population and complex regional environment, the escape and rescue would face a lot of restrictions. Therefore, the research of emergency evacuation and rescue process for the major malls should be more sophisticated and comprehensive, which had great significance for the protection of the safety of the people in the region.The article would use Cangshan Wanda Plaza and part of surrounding communities as the study area to analysis and overview emergency evacuation scenarios in urban areas from several aspects, such as disasters, emergency shelters, public facilities service area, the evacuation of the population forecast etc. Secondly, by Referring to the path planning algorithm, analyzed the factors of emergency evacuation route and constructed data model of emergency path. Again, according to the results of the direct route planning, combined with the network flow model and GIS systems, the article used alternative methods of spatial units to allocate emergency shelters. The experimental analysis proved the validity and scientific of the dynamic allocation method for the emergency shelter in the study area which were unevenly distributed in the space and had limited capacity. Finally, based on the results of comprehensive analysis for the emergency evacuation process, combined route data model and dynamic assignment, the article made full use of emulation technologies to construction Emergency Evacuation Process Simulation System to analysis and simulation show the emergency evacuation process in the major shopping malls and its surrounding.Through the analysis and discussion of research methods and contents of emergency evacuation process in the major shopping malls and its surrounding involving multiple disciplines, the articles improved and complemented the existing research, such as selection of emergency shelter, evacuation route planning and dynamic allocation of emergency shelter. It also put forward specific embodiment for the construction of Emergency Evacuation Process Simulation System, which will provide the necessary decision support for the planning and construction of emergency shelters and emergency rescue. It made the evacuation drill have a great practical significance.
