Hydrogel actuators are a family of versatile soft machines that deform or move when exposed to external stimulus,and thus have potentials for applications including artificial muscles,sensors,optical devices,etc.There are two focal points to make hydrogel actuators: 1,Select for materials which are responsive to pH,far-infrared,ultraviolet,etc.2.These materials are arranged in well defined organization.There are lots of responsive materials suitable for actuator,but with high water content,the surface of hydrogel is smooth,it is uneasy to assemble.The experiment consists of three parts: 1,?-CD-Bis,Methacrylate and Acrylamide were copolymerized to form H-A hydrogel.2.Ad–AAm,acryloyloxyethyl trimethyl ammonium chloride and Acrylamide were copolymerized to form G-C hydrogel.3.Study on the assembly between G-C and H-A hydrogel,Driving performance in the electric field also be demonstrated,Study on the behavior of Janus bilayer when exposed to water /ethanol.It was found that : 1.Both H-A and G-C hydrogel are responsive to pH solution,ionic strength solution or electric field.2.H-A and G-C hydrogel can assemble through host-guest molecular recognition.3.In electric field,the actuators can pick up object.4.Janus bilayer was cyclically actuated in water /ethanol solutions through unbalanced swelling/deswelling.
