With the rapid development of economy,glass is widely used in all walks of life.The quality of glass cutting machine is very important for glass processing,and glass cutting technology plays a very important role in improving the utilization rate of raw materials and processing efficiency.In order to reduce the production cost and improve the production efficiency,this paper has carried on the thorough research on the numerical control system of the four-axis glass cutting machine.In this paper,the motion control system is designed according to the mechanical structure and moving target of glass cutting machine.And key technologies to realize CNC motion control,such as interpolation algorithm,acceleration/deceleration control,two-axis synchronization,arc transition and so on are studied.Aiming at the problem of large number of empty stroke in the process of machining multi-workpiece by a CNC glass cutting machine,an optimization algorithm based on the shortest stroke is presented in this paper.Firstly,the nearest neighbor algorithm is used to determine the starting point of each machining workpiece,and the starting point is used to represent the position of each workpiece in the glass panel.The problem of determining the cutting order of each workpiece is transformed into the traveling salesman problem,and then the genetic algorithm is used to determine the cutting order of each workpiece.The effectiveness of the algorithm is verified through the example in the end.In this paper,the corresponding software operation interface is developed,the shortest path optimization algorithm is proposed at the same time,experiments show that the optimization algorithm proposed in this paper can optimize the empty stroke in the cutting process.It can significantly reduce the production costs,improve production efficiency and has strong practicality through the development of numerical control system and the proposed optimization algorithm.
