Aluminum alloy 3C products have thin wall,high finish,surface profile complex,machine shaping in one step,large processing surface area,etc.In high speed milling,vibration is easy produced,while Aluminum alloy 3C parts require a very high cosmetic finish,without any patterns after polishing or anodizing.This has caused a great challenge to the tool machining?Solid carbide tools have the advantages of high hardness,good wear resistance,sufficient strength and toughness and good process performance,are widely used in the processing of 3C products.But in the milling process,it's easy to produce poor finish and other issues,cause appearance unqualified parts,and the life is not stable in keeping the index of finish.All these problems need to be solved urgently.The main research purpose of this paper is to design structure parameters of an aluminum alloy 3C part profile milling tool by means of simulation analysis and experiment.Mainly launches the following research:(1)Structure design of solid carbide 3C milling tool.Including the tooth number,helical direction,equal pitch angle and unequal pitch angle.Establish the ABAQUS 3D milling finite element model,by the milling force of 3D FEM simulation,to design the structure parameters of the solid carbide 3C milling tool,to make the tool has anti vibration,high life cutting performance,parts with high finish.(2)Preparation of solid carbide 3C milling tool.Combined with the simulation results and subsequent experimental planning,using the German Walter company's Helitronic Power CNC 5-axle Coordinated CNC Tool Grinder to machine tools;Inspecting tools using Zoller,including profile,radial rake and radial back angle,helix angle,edge beat,etc;Using LTD-4 tool passivation machine to passivate tools,positive and negative rotation 180 s,can obtain better edge.(3)Milling test of 6061 aluminum alloy sheet.In order to verify the correctness of simulation results,using these 4 tools to carry out single factor tests,extracting milling force and vibration in the milling process.After the test is finished,measuring the surface roughness of the workpiece.Study on the effect of 3C milling tool structure on the surface roughness.(4)The wear and fracture morphology of the carbide 3C milling tool is analyzed,and the tool wear and damage mechanism are analyzed.The life test of the6061 aluminum alloy milling by 3C milling tool is carried out to verify the cutting performance of the 3C milling tool after structural optimization,and the blunt standard of the milling of 6061 aluminum alloy is established.
