Iron and steel industry is a high energy consuming industries,so the execution of energy saving technology in the steel factory will have huge potential.In the past,the calculation of power consumption in hot rolling process adopts the hand count added by rough estimate;we estimated power consumption only based on experience.No one can estimate the error of them.It is hard to carry out a systematic analysis of energy consumption of steel to provide detailed,accurate and scientific decision-making data.The issue has wide applications,such as the successful development of a set of computing platforms.This system can be popularized to all iron and steel companies,the measurement platform data saving project will have a definite object in view for the country to save a lot of money.It has a great market prospects and social significance.Based on the actual production of Bao Steel 1780 hot rolling mill,hot-rolled production process energy consumption design a reasonable collection and dynamic power management system solutions(Electric Energy Acquisition and analyzing Systems,EAAS).This system can analyze statistics and each process during hot rolling power consumption,and a statistical analysis.Energy data acquisition and analysis system has been widely used in all kinds of fields,but current data collection is static electricity,such as a day or a month of electricity metering and timing statistics.The proposed energy collection system will use the protective devices SEL measurements to calculate a period of energy and L2 system accurately obtain different kinds of steel in different section of the beginning and ending time after samples collected in real time,through obtain an accurate value of the integral sampling station power consumption.In this design,the system use three-tier network architecture.SEL device is a spacer layer.ROC6000 communication manager and communications network consist of the network layer.The station level protects data-servers and workstations.In the system software,by integrating the energy consumption of different algorithms for computing section gives all aspects of roughing,finishing and coiling different power consumption,and draw the real-time power curve.The system uses communication manager implements the DNP communication protocol and L2 communication protocols.System also achieves data collection and data exchange.After a long test,the various functions of the system have completed production process requirements,and the system is operating normally,and stable.
