TPE is a mixed material typical in rubber and plastic property.It shows great rubber-plastic at certain temperature.For plastic part,TPE works repeated and flowed property via the inter-relation among molecule which comes out reversible physical cross linking.The cross bonding will be destroyed as long as temperature changes.For pubber part,it belongs to high elastic chain segment.It decides the capacity of elasticity.So TPE can keep the original elasticity through extrusion processing.It is consisted with two stages.It takes 4h for the first stage and requires not high temperature.At the second stage,it begins normal pressure for 2h and stays at vacuum environment afterwards for an hour when reaching 250~260?.It depends on the temperature.That is to say it reacts slowly under low temperature.But it will bring side reaction with too high temperature.So the reaction system should be controlled at pressure 500-1000 Pa with the 0.5%-1% amount of butyl titanate as catalyst.It obtains the basic structure of TPE by analyzing the FIR?NMR?POM?XRD on Nylon 610 and TPE.It proves there's a complicated chemical atmosphere inside hydrogen atom and there's a lot of extended displacement.The existence of soft segment polyethylene glycol(peg)hampers the movement and rearrangement of nylon 610 so that it impacts the formation and growing-up of spherulite.It means the spherulite may not grow well or even disappear.Through analysis on the test reports on nylon 610,like TG ? DSC and other mechanical properties,we know much about the thermal performance and mechanical properties of nylon 610.With polyethylene glycol,the original molecule structure will be destroyed so that the melting point reduces and thermal stability decreases.Meantime the tensile strength and the bending strength declines as well.On the contrary,the breaking ratio increases a lot.So it shows great elastic property andtenacity.TPE nylon 610 has amazing processing property.Beneficially it can be widely applied for automatic accessories with its wonderful processing property both with rubber and thermoplasticity.
