The chemical oscillation reaction systems of ClO2-I2-ethyl acetoacetate?EAA?and NaClO2-KI-tert-butyl acetoacetate?BAA?were investigated by theoretical simulation using Berkeley Madonna dynamic system modeling analysis software,and the UV-Vis spectrophotometer,respectively.The chemical oscillation phenomena and characteristic of the two systems were also studied.The chemical oscillation reaction system of ClO2-I2-EAA was studied by theoretical simulation using Berkeley Madonna dynamic system modeling analysis software.The oscillation behavior of I3',ClO2-,H+,and I-can be influenced by changing the intial concentration of ClO2,I2,H+,and EAA.The oscillation period,the amplitude and the number of oscillation wave can be changed.The following results can be concluded by Origin software curve fitting of the simulated data.?1?The oscillation behavior of I3-,ClO2-,H+ and I-has the same changing trend with the increase of initial concentration of ClO2 The oscillation period and oscillation amplitude decrease.The number of oscillation wave increcses first,then decreases afterwords.?2?The oscillation behavior of I3-.ClO2-,H+ and I-has the same changing trend with the increase of initial concentration of EAA.The oscillation period and oscillation amplitude increase.The number of oscillation wave decrecses.?3?The oscillation behavior of I3-,ClO2-,H+ and I-has the same changing trend with the increase of initial concentration of H2SO4.The oscillation period and oscillation amplitude increase.The number of oscillation wave decrecses.?4?The oscillation behavior of I3-,ClO2-,H+ and I-has the same changing trend with the increase of initial concentration of I2.The oscillation period decreases,while the oscillation amplitude increases.The number of oscillation wave increcses first,then decreases afterwords.At the same time,the spatial simulation was also investigated by using MATLAB software.By establishing the simplified mechanism model,the concentration range of occuring oscillation phenomenon can be got.The spatial area of occuring oscillation phenomenon is gradually decreasing along with the increase of pH value.A new chemical oscillation reaction system of NaClO2-KI-BAA was studied by UV-Vis spectrophotometry.The oscillation behavior is influenced by the initial concentration of reactants,pH value and reaction temperature.The wavelengths of 297 nm,360 nm,585 nm by adding starch and 287 nm without starch were chosen to study the oscillation phenomenon.The oscillation period,amplitude and the induction time were studied by changing the initial concentration of NaClO2,H2SO4.KI and BAA.The mathematic equations of oscillation amplitude,oscillation period and induction time with the initial concentration of reactants were got based upon the experimental data.At the same time,the oscillation behavior changing with the reaction temperature was also studied.The apparent activation energy in the induction stage and oscillating stage were calculated.The reaction dynamics of BAA-I2 system was also studied.The reaction rate equation and the linear relationship of H+ apparent reaction order with pH value were obtained.The H+ apparent reaction order decreases with the pH value.
