The Comprehensive Safety Asessment Of Offshore Platforms

Social and economic development is inseparable from the oil resources.With China's oil reserves on land have been decreasing year by year,offshore oil exploration and development is now of increasing concern.The offshore platforms are important equipment for the exploration and development of offshore oil.However,the harsh,complex and uncertainty of marine environment,the impacts of the waves and storms,the instability of the marine foundation and the technical level of the operation personnel etc.make the safety risks of the offshore platforms much higher than the land equipment.Particularly,in China,most of the marine platforms have been used for a long time and come into the old period,so the security problems have become more prominent.As an effective means to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the offshore platforms,comprehensive safety assessment has been widely recognized both at home and abroad,security is always a big deal;therefore,it is of great significance to strengthen the research of comprehensive safety assessment of offshore platforms.Based on the research status of offshore platforms safety at home and abroad,combining with the theory of security risk and comprehensive safety assessment,this thesis evaluates the comprehensive safety assessment to the safety of the relevant offshore platforms.The main work is as follows:1.The construction of integrated safety assessment in offshore platform applicationThe thesis elaborates the complex characteristics of the safety risks of the offshore platforms and the significance,the standards and application matters of the comprehensive safety assessment for the offshore platforms.It creatively puts forward the process ofcomprehensive safety assessment,viz.,safety risks' identification,evaluation,response and control.On this account,the thesis constructs the procedure of comprehensive safety assessment in offshore platforms.2.Application of the safety assessment procedure in Jinzhou 20-2MUQ platform3.Application of comprehensive safety assessment procedure in Shengli No.8 PlatformThe results of the research: In this thesis,the integrated safety assessment procedure of offshore platforms is translated into four closely related processes: security risk identification,assessment,response and control.By verified the effectiveness of the security assessment program through the specific application in aforementioned the two platforms,it provides a new integrated security assessment framework for the integrated safety assessment of offshore platforms.
