Polypropylene?PP? has become an important kind of plastics because of its excellent mouding and integrated properties. Copopolymerized polypropylene?cPP? has low melt temperature?Tm? and high impact strength. It is necessary to improve its mechanical property and give it good property of antibacterial, etc. The rigidity and dimensional stability of cPP could be improved by using layered-silicate Talc. The more??40wt%? Talc used, the better effect.Talc was surface-modified by titanate coupling agent?NDZ-201? firstly. And then added Talc,homo-polymerized polypropylene?hPP?, PP-g-MAH,rutile nano-TiO2,ZPT in cPP in turn. The properties of mechanical, melt fluidities, resistance to UV aging and antibacterial were studied. In addition, many modern means such as DSC,TEM,XRD, MFR and FTIR were applied to analyse the composites and research its modifying mechanism. It was showed that the properties of cPP/Talc composites were up to the best value while the dosage of coupling agent was up to 1 phr of Talc. The addition of Talc and hPP could also improve dimensional stability and flexural strength. The system showed excellent resistance to UV aging by the addition of rutile nano-TiO2.Integrated properties of composites were the best when it was filled with 20 wt%Talc,40 wt% hPP,4 wt%PP-g-MAH and 3 wt%nano-TiO2.There was almost no effect on mechanical properties of the system by addition of ZPT,but its antibacterial rate reached 98.3%when the content was only 0.5wt%.
