Machining micro hole is always a hot topic, now there are many tiny-hole existent on electronic products, with the increment number of electronic products, people begin to have a high requirement for electronic prod ucts quality, it means that we must update the machining tool and process of the micro hole. The work-piece produced by grinding has not only the high and smooth surface, but also the accuracy and quality of the work-piece is more appropriate. The grinding drill’s structure was designed in this paper, including abrasive selection and arrangement, grinding drill hardness and binder selection, analys is drilling and grinding characteristics of the grinding drill, inc luding the grinding temperature and the wear debris generated. Then import the grinding drill into the DEFORM-3D software for simulation research, from the simulation results we can conclude that: abrasive grain size and grinding parameters have a great impact on Machining performance of grinding dr ill. The abrasive have two forms of distribution on grinding drill. Random distribution and order distribution on the surface of grinding drill. under the same simulation condition, the abrasive which random distribution on the surface of grinding drill have a lower grinding force temperature and wear than order distribution abrasive, It having a better processing performance. In this paper we selects the size of 36/54, 270/325, 230/270 and 170/200 four abrasive made grinding drill, simulate the grinding drill grind the titanium alloy TC4 in the same condition, the result shows that the grinding temperature grinding wear and the grinding force are increase with the grinding partic le size increase. in order to analysis the relationship between the grinding parameters and grinding force temperature and wear, we select the size 36/54 abrasive to simulation. When grinding speed in 30000 rpm the drill have a good performance, with the speed increased to 60000 rpm, The temperature, grinding force and wear of the grinding are also increased correspondingly. The feed rate of the grinding drill is increased from 0.002mm/r to 0.018mm/r, and the axial force, temperature and wear of the drill are increased. The greater the grinding speed increased, the grinding temperature and wear increase more serious.
