Today, the steel industry is in decline, but domestic and international demand for high-quality seamless steel tube is not reduced.For a long time, most companies of China are producing low quality steel, the demand of high quality steel is mainly dependent on imports.China's steel industry must keep up the trend to produce more and better high-quality seamless tubes.Slight stretch reducing is finally working procedure of seamless steel tube. Slight stretch reducing has important influence on the specification and quality of seamless tube.Therefore,In order to optimize the technique of the slight stretch reducing process of seamless steel tube,we need to go step further to analyze slight stretch reducing theory. The defects of tube end thickness were decreased in the process of slight stretch reducing.The main contents of this article :(1)The paper introduce slight tension reducing theory and calculate the process parameter of slight stretch reducing mill which can reduce? 164.00mm?19.34 mm to ? 134.32 mm ?20.00 mm.(2)According to the features of more parameters and more calculation amount in the process of slight tension reduction;Using VB to establish the micro tension reducing simulation system, which can shorten the design cycle and improve the efficiency of the enterprise.( 3) Slight tension reducing process is simulated under steady rotation speed by 8 racks in DEFORM.The changes of stress, strain, rolling force and wall thickness are analyzed.Getting the rule of mental flowing of slight stretch reducing and explaining uneven wall thickness with rule of mental flowing.The defects of tube end thickness were found in the process of slight stretch reducing.The excision length of finished tube ends is reduced by changing the speed of the frame when speed of roll was adjusted.(4)In theory, the improved roll pass can reduce the uneven thickness of the wall. The numerical simulation was carried out with the improved roll, and itis found that the distribution of the wall thickness is consistent with the experimental results.The research process and results provide a basis for the optimization of the process parameters of slight stretch reducing which provides a way to improve the quality of the products.
