Ecosystem services are the foundation of human survival and development.The research on ecosystem services value assessment can prove the importance of the ecosystem service and help relevant organizations of planning and management to carry out rational planning of layout successfully.This research aims at the Ecosystem Service Valuation(ESV)of Huanchulin Nature Reserve in Fujian.The valuation based on the 3S(GIS,GPS and RS)technology and relative research for the theoretical basis and the technical method of ESV.By considering about the characteristics of the studyarea,we choosed seven indexes from forest ecosystem service to establish the ESV index system.Finally,the selected indexes of physical quantity and corresponding ESV were calculated.The evaluation system has certain directive significance to the construction of the ESV of the National Nature Reserve in south of China.The main research contents are listed as follows:(1)According to《Specifications for assessment of forest ecosystem services in the PRC》(LY/T172-008),Seven aspects of ecosystem services function were chosed,which were soil conservation,gas regulation,water conservation,air purification,recreation and culture,biodiversity and product supply.The evaluation system we built support dynamic evaluation and can meet the requirements of the construction of ecological and environmental big data.In the meantime,the data of the system is more available and the evaluation method is easy to control.(2)With 3S technology support,two remote sensing images were used to carry on the classification of land use/cover and NDVI extraction.Based on land use data,DEM data,soil data,rainfall data and relevant literature data,seven aspects of ecosystem services function were calculated.For instance,The main data source of the valuation of soil conservation is RUSLE model(LUCC data、DEM data、NDVI、soil data and Rainfall data)and the Soil content data;The main data source of the valuation of gas regulation is LUCC data,NPP data and relevant literature data;The main data source of the valuation of water conservation is SCS model(LUCC data,soil data and rainfall data);The main data source of the valuation of air purification is soil data,NDVI and relevant literature data;The main data source of the valuation of biodiversity is LUCC data and relevant literature data;The main data source of the valuation of recreation and culture is LUCC data and relevant literature data.The main data source of the valuation of product supply is relevant literature data.(3)The total ESV in the study area in 2003 was 1,300,718,150 yuan and the ESV in 2014 was 1,542,925,820 yuan.The change of the ESV was due to the change of the land use/cover and the parametersin different years.According to the order as follows,the sequence of seven aspects of ESV was:water conservation>soil conservation>gas regulating>biodiversity>air purification>product supply>recreation and culture.Among them,the water conservation function was the largest contribution,with a total ESV of 52.94%~62.89%.From 2003 to 2014,the most significant change is the value of recreation and culture with a net increase of 14.55656 million yuan,and this was mainly due to the development of local hot spring tourism which promoted the increase of recreation value.Analysis of the ESV of unit area in different land use types showed that except the waterbody,the ESV of other land use/cover increased in different degrees.The mean ESV of unit area in the research area was103,950 yuan/hm2 in 2003 and 123,300 yuan/hm2 in 2014.In a conclusion,the reserve is under a good condition of protection.(4)Compared to 10 relevant research about ESV of Reserve in China suggest:The area of the study area is at a moderate level.The total ESV in the study area is at the middle and lower level that is large gap between the top three.According to the ESV of unit area in study area,the study area ranked in the middle level.Compared to other relevant research from the four indicators of soil conservation,gas regulation,water conservation and air purification,the value of water conservation function in the study area is in the upper level,gas regulation and soil conservation function belong to the middle and upper level,and the function of air purification function is of medium level.In order to estimate the value of ecosystem services in the study area,the research aims to construct the evaluation system of ESV for forest nature reserve.From the ESV at the study area from 2003 to 2014 and Comparison of the domestic similar forest type nature reserve assessment results,we can see the ecological quality is in a good condition and the ecosystem service value toward the positive direction at the study area.
