Using different operating modes,the separation result will be different in temperature programmed at gas chromatography.If changing variety operating conditions in order to achieve optimum performance by experience,we need to be repeated experiments.If we can predict retention time of temperature programmed in one operated mode by retention time of constant temperature in another operated mode,this will improve experimental efficiency and expand the use of experimental data.In this paper,we use matlab tool to predict retention times between different modes,based on the nonlinear plate theory.All error analysis showed: with predicting retention time in temperature programmed in constant flow mode by constant temperature retention time in constant pressure mode,88% of the prediction error is less than 3%,all the prediction error is less than 5%;with predicting retention time in temperature programmed in constant pressure mode by constant temperature retention time in constant flow mode,also most prediction error is less than 3%,all the prediction error is less than 5%;In the prediction of temperature-programmed and pressure-programmed also achieved good results,in line with the range of the general prediction error analysis.This shows high prediction accuracy of the proposed method,and in prediction,we simplify the dead time,making the prediction method is more simple.At all prediction process,all predictions are better accuracy,it shows,the prediction method has a relatively good result in the feasibility and using scope.So the effective use of these experimental data is a breakthrough by using this method.Application of prediction method between different modes,is a kind of innovation and try,we can give attention to both the experimental efficiency and prediction accuracy at the same time in the process of experiment,so the prediction method has significant meaning in theory and practical application.
