The Preparation And Evaluation Of High Performance Organic Bentonite YX-3 Of XinJiang

Based on the principle of cation exchange,the cationic surfactant is introduced into the bentonite crystal layer to exchange the inorganic cation.The biggest characteristics of organic bentonite have more excellent gel and thixotropic property in the organic solvent,which has been widely used in the oil-based drilling fluid,paint,lubricating oil,sewage treatment,composite materials.In this experiment,three kinds of Ca-bentonite are selected as raw materials,such as X-1,X-2 and X-3 in Xinjiang.Na2CO3 as na-modification,the changes of colloid index,swelling capacity,cation exchange capacity of 3 kinds of bentonite under different sodium modification conditions are analyzed by single factor method and orthogonal test method.Through the comparison of the colloid index,swelling capacity,cation exchange capacity,Xinjiang X-3 bentonite is finally optimized.The optimum technological conditions are na-modification dosage of 4%,reaction temperature of 60℃,reaction time of 120 min,6% the concentration of bentonite.The optimum technological conditions are na-modification dosage of 4%,reaction temperature of 60℃,reaction time of 120 min,6% the concentration of bentonite.Cation gemini surfactant 16-4-16 and cetyl trimethylammonium chloride 1631 can be compounded to new organic modifier.Under the combined ratio of 2:1,organic bentonite YX-3 is prepared by wet method,and the optimum conditions for organic modification are obtained which dosage of mix modifier is 30%,reaction temperature is 75℃,p H value is 8,reaction time is 120 min.Xinjiang YX-3 organic bentonite is analyzed by infrared spectrometer.It can be judged that the compound is the target product YX-3 by the infrared spectrum data.Colloid ratio,apparent viscosity,plastic viscosity,yield value,filter loss of Xinjiang YX-3 organic bentonite are determined and evaluated.It’s proved that the performance of Xinjiang YX-3 organic bentonite is more excellent than M-B organic bentonite.Tempe-rature-tolerance performance of YX-3 organic bentonite are evaluated in the diesel oil,white oil,two kinds of base fluid.YX-3 organic bentonite has good temperature resistance of 210℃-220℃.
