Coordination Polymers(CPs),as a new kind of crystalline materials,are self-assembled by coordination bonds between organic bridging ligands and metal ions or metal-ion clusters.CPs not only possess colorful topos structures,but also contain enormous application value in adsorption,luminescence,magnetic and catalysis etc.In this paper,we choose three different ligands:3-(3-methyl-2-pyridyl)-5-(4-pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazole(Hmdpt),3-pyraziny1-1,2,4-triazole(Hdpt)and 2-(2',4'-dicarboxylphenoxy)benzoic acid(H3L)with four different auxililiary benzendicarboxylate ligands:1,3-benzenedicarboxylic acid(m-H2bdc),1,4-benzenedicarboxylic acid(p-H2bdc),1,2-benzenedicarboxylic acid(o-H2bdc)and biphenyl-4,4'-dicarboxylic acid(4,4'-H2bpdc)to obtainCPs.Fortunately,twelve CPs were synthesized by hydrothermal method:[Cd(mdpt)2]·2H2O(1),[Mn(mdpt)2]·2H2O(2),[Co3(mdpt)6]·6H2O(3),[Cu(Hmdpt)2(S04)]·4H2O(4),[Cd2(mdpt)2(m-bdc)(H2O)2](5),[Cd(Hmdpt)(p-bdc)]·2H2O(6),[Cd3(mdpt)2(4,4'-bpdc)2]·2.5NMP(7),[Cu(dpt)(HCOO)](8),[Cu(dpt)(p-bdc)0.5(H20)]·H20(9),[Cu2(dpt)2(o-bdc)(H2O)2]· 2H2O(10),[Cu2(dpt)2(m-bdc)]·2H2O(11),[Ln(L)(H2O)2]·H2O·CH3CN(12-Ln)(Ln = Eu,Tb,Dyand Gd).There are five chapters in this paper:Chapter 1 introduces the concept,development,synthesis and applications of coordination polymers.The significance of this paper was also elaborated in detal.Chapter 2 offers the synthesis,structures and properties of four CPs based on Hmdpt.The magnetismof 2 and 3,the adsorption of 3 was tested and discussed carefully.Chapter 3 presents the structural comparisons of three novel Cd(?)-CPs,which were synthesized by Hmdpt and three different benzendicarboxylate auxiliary ligands.The adsorption of compound 7 was measured and the luminescent properties of three CPs were tested and analysized as well.Chapter 4 offers the structural analyses of four Cu(?)-CPs,which were obtained by Hdpt and four different benzendicarboxylate auxiliary ligands.And the magnetic properties were discussed.Chapter 5 introduces the structures and properties of four Ln-CPs based on H3L ligand.An efficient selective sensing for Fe(?)and Cr(?)in aqueous solution of compound 12-Eu was studied.And then the sensing mechanism was analyzed.The magnetismof 12-Dy was also testedand discussed.
