As the first choice of automotive glass,PVB laminated glass' s impact resistance and the dynamic response under impact is the important research content of laminated glass.The addition of the PVB interlayer makes the dynamic response of the laminated glass no longer a simple problem of a single all the same plate after impact,and in general,due to the difference between the PVB interlayer and the elastic modulus of the two sides of the glass at least three orders of magnitude,It can not simply analyze as the impact problem of the ordinary laminated board.This paper,based on ABAQUS software,simulates the equivalent glass plate and laminated glass subjected to hail impact,then based on the theoretical analysis and numerical simulation,obtain the quantitative analysis of the dynamic response of the impact point on the laminated glass under the vertical impact of hailstone,and also the stress wave propagation problems of laminated glass under various angles and multiple impacted are analyzed.In this paper,the deflection of the impacted point on the laminated glass and the deflection of the impact point on the equivalent glass are compared by simulating the vertical impact of the hail at the center of the laminated glass.It is found that the deflection of the laminated glass tends to be more favorable,and the transmission of the stress wave in the thickness direction of the laminated glass is delayed,after the impact of the PVB sandwich on the stress is much smaller than the stress on both sides of the glass.So when the laminated glass is not damaged by impact,laminated glass mainly withstand the impact of hail caused by the impact by the sandwich on both sides of the glass.By simulating the impact of the equivalent glass plate by hail and the model of the laminated glass,found that the equivalent thickness of the laminated glass used in the project to check the design method is extremely inaccurate for the impact.Simultaneously,the laminated glass is set in the model as a simple constraint and surrounded by the surrounding constraints.After the calculation,it is found that there is no difference between the stress distribution on thelaminated glass and the deflection at the impact point.Through the simulation of the impact of sandwich glass by multiple hail,we get the impact process of multiple hail at different time to collide the different impact points of sandwich glass,It was found that the stress on the back glass of the laminated glass was less than that of the laminated glass,and the stress on the PVB interlayer was more than three orders of magnitude higher than that of the front glass,and the stress caused by the impact was almost all On the front glass of laminated glass.It is concluded that if the resistance to the continuous impact of the laminated glass is increased by direct contact with the front glass of the impacted object,the stress on the four boundaries of the laminated glass plate is large after the impact occurs,In this model,the stress curves along the boundary are also output.This paper also simulates the secondary impact on the same point on the laminated glass,and obtains the viscous dissipation on the PVB interlayer to effectively block the stress superposition caused by multiple impacts.In all the simulation can also be concluded that the impact of laminated glass plate,the four right angles at the minimum stress,therefore it is the most secure area.Finally,on the basis of simulation,this paper makes an analysis of the reliability of the simulation,first,using the impact point's the theoretical deflection of glass plate model by the impact of hail compared with the curve and the equivalent glass plate of the laminated glass simulation model output deflection results,Second,Using the model quality assessment method on the ABAQUS manual to verify the energy balance of the simulation model in this paper,the final results show that the simulation model in this paper is highly reliable and accurate.
