Compared with the traditional sec-butyl acetate synthesis process,the reactive distillation process can effectively improve the conversion rate of acetic acid,reduce the energy consumption and equipment investment.However,the complex interaction between reaction and separation in the same device makes the design and control of the process much more difficult than it for conventional reactors or distillation processes,and the improper design may cause the failure of reaction distillation process.On the basis of predecessors' a lot of research work,the purpose of this topic research is to propose a reactive residue curve mapping design strategy of reactive distillation process and the preliminary design of sec-butyl acetate system are studied.design The basic structure of the tower can be obtained through the feasibility study and the synthesis design,which can provide a reliable theoretical basis for the subsequent design of reactive distillation process.The detailed research contents of this thesis are as follows:(1)The esterfication reaction kinetics of sec-butyl acetate is studied with the catalyst CT800 to provide kinetic foundation for reactive distillation graphical design process.Under the elimination of the internal and external diffusion effects,the effects of temperature,proportion of reactants and catalyst concentration on the reaction are investigated.A pseudo-homogenous model is established.The expressions of the reaction rate and the reaction equilibrium constants are obtained,and the activation energy of the forward reaction and the reverse reaction are determined.The results provide a kinetics basis of the reactive distillation graphic design for sec-butyl acetate synthesis.(2)The equations of reactive residue curve and reactive extractive residue curve maps are derived on the basis of residue curve map,and the introducing of Damkohler number Da expands the scope of reaction type,which the design equations can be applied for.Subsequently,On the basis of residual curve,reactive residue curve,reactive extractive residue curve maps and the steady-state analysis methods,a reactive residue curve design strategy of reactive distillation process and a feasibility analysis strategy for different reaction system are put forward.(3)Based on the proposed rRCM design strategy,combining a set of information concerning the physicochemical properties,thermodynamics and kinetics,a feasibility analysis of sec-butyl acetate synthesis in reactive distillation column is proposed.The Damkohler number is applied to analyse the effect of reaction rate.Finally,a separation scheme and the corresponding product and distillation path are determined.(4)Based on the results of sec-butyl acetate feasibility analysis,the non-ideal highly sec-butyl acetate system is studied using Aspen Plus.The influence of the tower structure and operating conditions(reflux ratio,boiling ratio et al.)on the purity of the product and the conversion of feed are discussed,and a reasonable structural design and operating conditions are given.
