Carbon Dioxide Corrosion And Technology Study In The Gathering And Transportation System

Most of oil and gas field development in China has entered the late development stage,and the exploitation is more and more difficult.Some oil gathering pipelines are old and backward,and the water content of the produced fluid in the following stage of oil production increases,so gathering CO₂ corrosion in the pipeline is more serious.The problems of pipeline being perforated and pipeline leakage caused by corrosion medium-CO₂ besides other issues not only affect the production of the economic losses caused by enterprises,but also endanger human health and environmental safety.The problem of CO₂ corrosion and protection has become the bottleneck problem of the safe and effective development of oil and gas fields,which restricts the development of oil and gas exploitation technology in Jilin Oilfield.This paper analyzes and studies the change of corrosion rate of the common metal materials used in the ground gathering and transportation system under the influence of different main control factors.The corrosion mechanism of CO₂ is studied,and the worst corrosion environment condition of the ground gathering pipeline is determined.In the laboratory,the metal materials used in the pipeline and equipment are selected according to the worst corrosion environment,and the suitable corrosion inhibitors and the best concentration of corrosion inhibitor are determined.According to different processes,different corrosion prevention schemes were selected,and the corrosion protection experiments were carried out in the oil field.Based on the online corrosion monitoring technology of ground gathering and transportation system,the effect of field corrosion protection scheme is evaluated.To strengthen the understanding of the gathering CO₂ corrosion status of the system,and to improve the anticorrosion measures of surface gathering system,slow the development of the degree of corrosion of the pipeline and equipment of CO₂,prolong the service life,for enterprises to reduce equipment maintenance and downtime losses,for the future of CO₂ anticorrosion technology provides the bases for.
