Industrial wastewater composition is complicated,and processing technology is lack of pertinence.Especially with the improvement of the national standard,it is necessary to increase the effective detection of toxic and harmful substances.The disadvantages of current detection methods are time consuming,high cost and difficult to feedback the sewage treatment process timely,which are restrictions on assessing the effect of wastewater treatment process.In this study,we set up a rapid,comprehensive and effective testing system for the analysis of industrial wastewater,and its feasibility is verified.And the petrochemical wastewater was analyzed using this system.This study took the lead in establishing the COD fingerprint of petrochemical wastewater.And we try to introduce the separation,purification and identification of natural products methods to the qualitative and quantitative analysis of volatile organic compounds in sewage.The main results are as follows:The COD,BOD and other parameters were measured in grade of molecular weight range of sewage,the COD and BOD fingerprint of petrochemical wastewater were established.The results show that the maximum COD of sewage influent is material of particle size >120k nm,reached 54.90%;highest proportion accounted for the total COD of MBR effluent is material of particle size range between 450-1000 nm,reached 34.21%.BOD analysis showed that the soluble particulate fraction is the main reason of MBR water not up to standard.The treatment of this part should be the focus of the sewage treatment in the future.The composition of organic matter in the petrochemical wastewater was detected.The results indicated that organic matter in the petrochemical sewage inlet including alkanes,branched alkanes,benzene and plasticizer.In MBR effluent,the largest peak area of material is diisobutyl phthalate,also relative content of alkanes is still high.According to the results of GC-MS data,theory COD is calculated,the two sample theory COD accounted for 45.97% and 67.75% of the measured COD.Qualitative and quantitative analysis of the total salt content and the main metal cations showed that the salt content in the influent and MBR effluent was more than 1.5 g/L.The analysis of metal cations showed that the two water samples mainly include Na,Mg,K,Ca,Fe,Sr,and Ba.FTIR spectrum analysis shows that the organic matter contained is sewage influent suspended particles that may be: alcohols,acids,ethers and phenols,alkanes,protein and aromatics such as compounds;MBR effluent suspended particles may contain alcohols,phenols,ethers,alkanes,and aromatics.The experimental results show that the extraction(or rotary evaporation)and column chromatography(silica gel column chromatography,reverse column chromatography,etc.)-nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)combined with LC-MS detection analysis method of volatile organic compounds is an effective qualitative means in sewage.
