Polyacrylate has the advantages of easy film forming,strong adhesion to substrate and gloss retention,and has been widely used in the fields of fabric,leather,paint and so on.However,polyacrylate exhibits the disadvantages of the flammability and poor water resistance.In our study,inorganic nano flame retardant modified fluorinated polyacrylate soap-free latexes were prepared with inorganic nano flame retardant and fluorine monomer,and the application properties of soap-free latex were investigated.The main results obtained in this thesis are as follows:(1)MgAl-LDH modified fluorinated polyacrylate soap-free latex was prepared via soap-free emulsion polymerization using modified Mg Al-LDH as emulsifier.The effects of the synthesis conditions on soap-free latex and the properties of latex film were investigated.Compared to MgAl-LDH modified by polyether phosphate containing double bond(APE-2012)or alkyl sulfosuccinate diester sodium salt containing allyl(M-12S),MgAl-LDH modified by allyl polyether phosphate(V-100P)was found to lead to better static stability.The results showed that MgAl-LDH modified fluorinated polyacrylate soap-free latex with excellent performances was prepared with the modified MgAl-LDH as emulsifier of shell monomers,the mass ratio of V-100 P to MgAl-LDH at 1:1,the dosage of modified MgAl-LDH at 5 %,the dosage of hexafluorobutyl acrylate(HFBA)at 10 %,the dosage of hydroxyethyl acrylate(HEA)at 2 %,respectively.The results of transmission electron microscopy(TEM)showed that the latex particles were spherical particles with MgAl-LDH attached to the surface.The results of scanning electron microscopy(SEM)showed that the lamellar MgAl-LDH distributed in the latex film surface and cross section.The results of ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy(UV-vis)and thermogravimetric(TG)showed that the latex film had high transparency,and the MgAl-LDH in the latex filmimproved the thermal stability of fluorinated polyacrylate.The results showed that the MgAl-LDH was beneficial to improve the flame retardancy and water repellency of cotton fabric finished with the filming material of MgAl-LDH modified fluorinated polyacrylate soap-free latex.(2)Hybrid SiO2 modified fluorinated polyacrylate soap-free latex was prepared by soap-free emulsion polymerization using hybrid SiO2 sol as inorganic nano flame retardant and V-100 P as reactive emulsifier.Hybrid SiO2 modified fluorinated polyacrylate soap-free latex with excellent performances was prepared with the hybrid SiO2 sol as the shell monomers,the dosage of hybrid SiO2 at 5 %,the dosage of V-100 P at 7 %,respectively.The results of TEM showed that the latex particles were spherical particles with hybrid SiO2 attached to the surface.The results of SEM showed that the hybrid SiO2 distributed in the latex film surface and cross section.The results of UV-vis and TG showed that the latex film had high transparency,and the hybrid SiO2 in the latex film improved the flame retardancy of fluorinated polyacrylate.The results showed that the hybrid SiO2 was beneficial to improve the flame retardancy and water repellency of cotton fabric finished with the filming material of hybrid SiO2 modified fluorinated polyacrylate soap-free latex.
