China's coal resources are rich, with the continuous exploitation of coal, mining surface has undergone tremendous changes, and these changes to the mining area and its surrounding areas of economic and social development and ecological environment has a great impact. In order to ensure the ecological environment of the mining area and its surrounding areas and the sustainable development of economy and society,it is necessary to carry out effective detection of mine surface changes. However, the current methods of remote sensing change detection are mostly two-dimensional change detection, this method does not take into account the changes in surface elevation, and the current three-dimensional change detection methods and techniques are not mature enough. With the successful launch of China's first civil three-line array stereo satellite—mapping satellite ZY-3,the third satellite can obtain the advantages of high-precision three-dimensional image, and how to use the data of mapping satellite ZY-3 to carry out the three-dimensional change of the surface detection, accurate and rapid extraction of the surface of the three-dimensional changes in information,as people's focus on research.Based on the research of a large number of existing three-dimensional variation detection theory and methods, this paper explores the theoretical methods and key technologies of 3D change detection based on the data of mapping satellite ZY-3,and discusses the advantages and existing problems of the three-dimensional variation detection method. The three-dimensional variation test of the Zhungeer open-pit coal mine in Inner Mongolia is carried out.The main contents are as follows:1)Using the the data of mapping satellite ZY-3 and three-line array image matching and DSM extraction method, the Digital Surface Model(DSM)of the Zhungeer open-pit coal mine in Inner Mongolia in 2012-2016 was developed and evaluated.Accuracy to meet the requirements, the five DSM in turn subtracted the two,respectively,2012-2013,2013-2014,2014-2015,2015-2016 elevation difference image.2)Using the adaptive threshold method based on the principle of probability statistics to determine the change threshold,so as to extract the change area in the elevation difference image, and combine with the Digital Orthophoto Map(DOM)to study the area 2012-2016 three-dimensional change detection.3)Using the discrete integral method to calculate the area and earthwork of the change area, the three-dimensional variation of the key change area is analyzed and analyzed to realize the three-dimensional variation of the surface of Zhungeer open-pit coal mine. The experimental results show that this method can not only show the three-dimensional scene of the change area intuitively, but also has an accurate understanding of the location, range and degree of change of the study area. The conventional remote sensing change detection method is developed from two-dimensional plane to three-dimensional,And can quantitatively calculate the area and amount of the change area can be applied to remote sensing dynamic monitoring of mining area or geological disaster area.
