Research On The Financial Performance Affected By The Carbon Information Disclosure Of Heavy Pollution Industry

With the increasingly severe global warming trend,the environmental problems such as the haze take place frequently,so to pursue the low-carbon economy and promote energy conservation and emission reduction has become the general target of the global economy.Enterprise’s carbon information disclosure is the basis of the enterprise and stakeholders to communicate the information,also it is the main basis of carbon management in the enterprise and the guarantee of enterprise performance,promoting enterprise’s sustainable development.At present,the carbon information disclosure has limited progress at present.The research focuses on the definition and present situation,which is short of the financial performance influenced by carbon information disclosure.Therefore,this article mainly objects at heavy pollution industry,discusses the financial performance affected by enterprise carbon information disclosure,hoping to provide the experience on the carbon information disclosure and improve the level of enterprise’s carbon information disclosure.Based on the analysis of "theory-empirical test-countermeasure",this paper mainly analyzed from three aspects: First of all,we summarized research results at home and abroad and organized the theoretical basis of the carbon information disclosure;Secondly,combined with the enterprise’s actual disclosure situation,this paper constructed the system of carbon information disclosure framework,completely reflecting the current situation and problem of the carbon information disclosure of heavy pollution industry.Through the empirical results,we found that carbon emission,carbon management were negatively relevant with the financial performance,and carbon strategy,carbon reduction and carbon disclosure way were positively relevant with the financial performance.But only carbon strategy and carbon reduction has significantly positive correlation with the financial performance,which demonstrated the low-performing disclosure condition in heavy pollution industry,which was difficult to effectively play a role of promoting the financial performance by the carbon information disclosure.Finally,Based on the previous basis,we provided the suggestions for the improvement,hoping to enrich the content of the carbon information disclosure and improve the level of carbon information disclosure.
