Lead-acid battery is the most widely used for electric bicycle and car because of its chemical stability,storage performance and inexpensive.As the lead-acid battery has a certain life cycle,the formation of waste lead-acid batteries easily lead to environmental pollution problems.On the other hand,most of the waste lead-acid batteries such as lead paste,grating,plastic can be recycled with a very high recycling value.Waste lead-acid batteries mainly contain the anode plate,cathode plate,electrolyte,partitions,electrodes,cover,trough,bus bar and other parts of the composition,and they wrap around the tough and brittle plastic,so the traditional mineral processing broken method is difficult to effectively broken.Through the study of the mechanical properties of waste lead-acid battery with tensile,bending,impact and other crushing of waste lead-acid batteries,the waste lead-acid batteries show a good crushing effect when the impact energy is very small.In this paper,the wet lead crusher is used to break the waste lead-acid battery.The influencing factors mainly involve the number of hammerheads in the crushing chamber,the breaking time and the water intake.When the crushing time is 20 s,the water supply is 250L/h,The number of the hammer groups is two,the waste lead-acid batteries are fully broken.Broken products have fractal features,as plastic is sheet,grid is strip,lead paste is granular.Screening results show that most of the lead paste is distributed in the below 2.2mm grain size.On the impact of crushing equipment crushing products,the use of self-designed water medium separator to recover lead paste,the effect is obvious.Fluent software is used to simulate the flow field in the classifier,and the water supply method and t he appropriate flow rate range are determined.With using the top of the water,the appropriate sorting flow rate of 12m3/L,is conducive to the separation of lead paste.The results show that when the flow rate is 12m3/L,the yield of the final lead was 73.34% and the recovery rate was 97.97%.Lead paste products in the grid and plastic share of 0.22% and 0.28%,with achieving the efficient recovery of lead paste.
