The secondary piston rod is a key component in the secondary servo mechanism,whose machining quality affects the performance of the secondary servo mechanism directly.In this paper,for the reason that the traditional grinding method has high costs,low efficiency and unstable quality,the electrochemical grinding method has been researched on the basis of cylindrical grinding machine.Electrochemical grinding method is a combination of electrolytic processing and grinding processing.In this paper,the principle of electrolytic processing,the phenomenon of electrode polarization and metal passivation have been analyzed based on the analysis of Faraday's law of electrolysis,which has leaded an electrochemical grinding method that removing the metal passivation membrane by grinding.According to the mechanism and characteristics of electrochemical grinding,the method suitable for the processing of secondary piston rod has been selected and the relevant parameters which affect the electrochemical grinding have been analyzed in the paper.Meanwhile,the effects in electrochemical grinding of electrolyte and conductive grinding wheel have been analyzed according to the principle of electrochemical grinding,and the relevant parameters of electrolyte and conductive grinding wheel have been selected according to electrochemical grinding.On the basis of the analysis of the processing requirements of the secondary piston rod parts and the research on the electrochemical grinding method,the structure of MG1420 G the cylindrical grinding machine has been transformed on numerical control,which conforms to the electrochemical grinding.That improves the accuracy and efficiency of machine tool system processing.The combined method of PLC and touch screen control has been adopted in machine control system.Besides,PLC and touch screen program has been written according to the machining process.Electrolytic power supply is the "power" of electrochemical grinding.In this paper,pulse electrolysis power supply processed by the secondary piston rod has been selected according to the requirements of electrochemical grinding.As the requirements of the mechanism on electrochemical grinding and machining parts,the pre-stage full-bridge phase-shift soft-switching circuit,the post-pulse generating circuit and the power supply control system have been analyzed and designed.At the end,the desired results have been achieved through the simulation on MATLAB of designed electrolytic power supply.An electrochemical grinding experimental platform has been built according to the requirements of design.The secondary piston rod electrochemical grinding experiments has made on that platform after installation and commissioning.Finally,rationality of the design has been verified by the processing experiment,and the parameters which are suitable for the secondary piston rod have been selected according to the analysis of experimental phenomena.
