In view of research that the wastewater of a chemical industrial zone and a newly removal supporting wastewater treatment equipments.On the basis of quantity and quality of the water in one chemical industrial zone,this paper investigates and studies the factors affecting industrial sewage treatment plant drainage standards and material.In and out of the water in the sewage treatment plants,each unit in and out of the water as the research object.The toxicity of the five kinds of Toxic refractory material detected from the sewage treatment plant to activated sludge was studied so as to draw their toxicity limit to activated sludge.The main conclusions are as follows:1)Aerobic toxicity assay demonstrates that the 50%relative inhibition concentrations of 1,2,3 Trimethyl benzene,1,2,3,4-Tetramethyl benzene,Pentamethyl benzene,2-Methyl-naphtha ene,2,6-2 tert-butyl methyl phenol is 100.23mg/L,96.41mg/L,126.38mg/L,82.29 mg/L and 47.77mg/L respectively.Toxicity of size is 2,6-2 tert-butyl methyl phenol>2-Me-thylnaphthalene>1,2,3,4-Tetramethyl benzene>1,2,3-Trimethyl benzene>Pentamethyl benzene.2)The authors suggest that the inhibition rate on activated sludge as long as no more than EC20 can be allowed.So the highest tolerable concentrations of the test samples is EC20.The highest tolerable concentrations of 1,2,3-Trimethyl benzene,1,2,3,4-Tetramethyl benzene,Pentamethyl benzene,2-Methylnaphthalene and 2,6-2Tert-butyl methyl phenol is 31.72.mg/L,43.63mg/L,59.39mg/L,25.34mg/L,10.72mg/L respectively.3)Anaerobic toxicity assay demonstrates that the 50%relative inhibition concentrations of 1,2,3-Trimethyl benzene,1,2,3,4-Tetramethyl benzene,Pentamethyl benzene,2-methylnaphthalene and 2,6-2 tert-butyl methyl phenol is 104.07mg/L,240.64mg/L,,173.30mg/L,79.79mg/L and 109.20mg/L respectively.Toxicity of size is 2-methylnaphthalene>1,2,3-trimethylbenzene>2,6-2 tert-butyl methyl phenol>Pentarmethyl benzene>1,2,3,4-tetramethyl benzene.
