Billets,slabs and billets are the raw materials of steel rolling.Round burr is the slag produced on the lower surface of the top and bottom of the round billet continuous casting by fixed length cutting.It not only affects the quality of steel,but also endangers the rolling equipment.The round billet deburring machine is a mechanical device which is used for removing the round billet burr on the continuous casting line.This topic originates from Masteel electric furnace factory.In order to solve the problem of burr removal,a round billet deburring machine is designed.In this paper,firstly,the formation mechanism of burr and the principle of deburring are briefly analyzed.Then,according to the principle of the hammer type deburring,a round billet deburring machine is designed and a set of engineering drawing is drawn.In this design process,mainly including the roller structure design,the transmission system design,and the auxiliary structure design.In this paper,the hammer and the spindle in the deburring roller are designed in detail.In order to improve the precision of the lifting process,a V type guide lifting rail is designed aiming at the deviation phenomenon of round billet in the conveying roller,round billet centering mechanism is designed.In addition,from the point of view of safety and environmental protection,safety isolation device is also designed.Finally,the three-dimensional modeling of the machine is established by SolidWorks software and then the static and dynamic characteristics of the key parts of the device are studied and verified by ANSYS software.
