In recent years, research on chemical shift reagents has been developped rapidly. Method of Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) on e.e. determination has lots of advantages, such as fast analysis, less sample consumption, lower cost and environment friendly, also it is a new way of e.e. determination for chiral compounds. Main research of this paper was the development of novel chemical shift reagent for amine.There are three parts of work in this paper.First, it give a summarization on the determination of development of e.e. in recent years, on which chemical shift reagents was maily emphasized .Second, A series of chiral acids with BINOL scalfold were designed and synthesized, in which (R)-BINOL was used as the starting material.Synthetic route and reaction conditions were optimized.Third, (R)-compounds of chiral acids with BINOL scalfold were used to the chiral recognition of chiral amines with NMR spectra. The effects of different deuterium reagents and different chemical shift reagents on the recognition were investigated. Substrates such as amino alcohols, chiral diamines and amino acids were also used.
