In this paper, three blends of PETG/PBT blends, PETG/PBT reinforced blends and PETG/PBT flame-retardant and reinforced blends were tested and analyzed. Standard test strips for PETG/PBT blends were prepared by suitable processing equipment and process conditions at specific proportions. Using the electronic universal testing machine,thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), melt flow rate instrument, microcomputer control thermal deformation VEKA softening plastic indentation hardness tester, tester, limit oxygen index and vertical combustion and so on blends of PETG/PBT mechanical properties, rheological properties, flame retardant properties etc. a series of tests and analysis.The contents and results of this paper are as follows:Adding a certain proportion of PBT to PETG can improve the toughness and heat-resistant of the matrix. According to the experimental results we can see that PETG/PBT were partially compatible system.When PETG/PBT blend system was 70/30,it's increased by 1.88kJ/m2 of notched impact strength ; and decreased by only 1.08% of thermal deformation temperature , and the system had good compatibility. At the same time, the blends under this ratio were had excellent processing flowability and relatively high rigidity and toughness.The effect of GF content on the properties of PETG/PBT blends was explored under the premise of the ratio of PETG/PBT matrix system to 70/30. According to the experimental results, we can know that the addition of GF was obviously improved the tensile strength,flexural strength and heat resistance of PETG/PBT blends. When GF content is 30%, the tensile strength and charpy notched impact strength strengthened were increased by 143.90% and 63.27% of PETG/PBT/GF, the bending strength was increased by 120.2%, and the thermal deformation the temperature was increased by 156.39%.This paper studied the ten bromo two ethylene oxide (DBDPE) content and synergistic agent three oxidation two antimony (Sb2O3) enhancement ratio and mass ratio on the performance of flame retardant PETG/PBT/GF. According to the experimental results of the analysis we know that the flame-retardant system of Sb203/DBDPE flame-retardant PETG/PBT than only using the flame retardant effect of DBDPE was more obvious, when DBDPE and Sb2O3 mass ratio was 3:1, the blend of material mechanical properties, heat resistance to flame retardant performance was relatively good. On this basis, increasing the amount of DBDPE and Sb2O3, the flame retardant of blending system was getting better and better, when the amount of DBDPE/Sb2O3 added in 9/3, the oxygen index is 30, the vertical burning rating is UL94V-0. It was found that the mechanical properties of the system decreased slightly with the increase of the amount of DBDPE and Sb2O3, while the thermal deformation temperature increased slightly with the increase of DBDPE and Sb2O3 addition.
