Geopolymer is a kind of aluminosilicate cementitious material with three-dimensional network structure, which can be prepared by using industrial solid wastes and has excellent performance, is regarded as a green material. In this paper, the geopolymer were prepared by fly ash and slag as the main raw materials, and the factors in the geopolymer system were studied. A preliminary study on the production of geopolymer lightweight hollow wall was carried out with the purpose of industrialization and application. The main research contents and achievements include the following aspects:(1)The effects of slag and other calcium rich materials on the setting time and mechanical properties of fly ash geopolymer were studied. The effect of slag content on the phase structure of slag / fly ash geopolymer was studied by XRD, and the reaction process, reaction product and microstructure of the geopolymer were analyzed by IR and SEM-EDS.(2)The effects of activator, water-ash ratio and fine aggregate on the mechanical properties of slag / fly ash geomaterials were studied. The results showed that compressive strength is affected by the concentration of alkaline and oligomer, flexural strength is also affected by microcracks. Geopolymer has a good bonding effect on the different types of fine aggregate. The curing methods have a significant effect on the mechanical properties and shrinkage of the geopolymer.(3)The effect of the addition of polyvinyl alcohol on the toughness of geopolymer was analyzed. The toughening mechanism of polyvinyl alcohol was analyzed by microstructure of geopolymer composites observed through SEM and other ways. The results show that the toughening effect of polyvinyl alcohol fiber on geopolymer is mainly through the pull out and bridge, the toughening effect of polyvinyl alcohol water soluble powder on geopolymer is mainly through the polymer film and adding interface quantity.(4)Successful preparation of geopolymer lightweight hollow wall samples using self-made mold, the key performance indicators, compressive strength, softening coefficient and freeze-thaw performance to meet the requirements of the national standard of lightweight partition. On the basis of the experimental results, the paper puts forward the technological scheme of large-scale production of large-size lightweight hollow wall. The structural design and simulation of the core pulling mechanism in the molding process are carried out, which is a preliminary exploration of the practical application of geopolymer, to provide technical support and theoretical guidance for industrial production.
