Coenzyme Q10,also known as ubiquinone,is a fat soluble vitamin compound.Coenzyme Q10 has a variety of physiological activities,as well as the elimination of free radicals and antioxidant function,microbial fermentation coenzyme Q10 production is a very potential mode of production.The subject of the laboratory preservation of coenzyme Q10 producing photosynthetic bacteria Rhodopseudomonas PSB-B?Rhodopseudomonas faecalis PSB?to the culture medium and the optimal fermentation conditions and extraction conditions,and through the screening of strains to the high yield of coenzyme Q10.In addition,the energy produced by the metabolism of photosynthetic bacteria PSB-B in the process of fuel cell was studied in order to provide a theoretical basis for the industrial production of coenzyme Q10 and the development of new energy.The main results of this paper are as follows:In this paper,the effect of coenzyme Q10 producing PSB-B fermentation process of photosynthetic bacteria in carbon source,nitrogen source and inorganic salts,the optimum nitrogen source was?NH4?2SO4,and Mn2+,Fe2+and Mg2+on the yield of coenzyme Q10 role,Zn2+has certain inhibition effect.At the same time,the response surface of carbon source,nitrogen source and inorganic salt was studied.The results showed that the addition of glucose 24.37g/L,ammonium sulfate 5.65g/L,FeSO4 0.32g/L,coenzyme Q10 could reach30.55mg/L..The fermentation condition of this strain were optimized to get the best fermentation when pH was 6.5,the optimum temperature of 32-34,the best inoculation was6%,the optimum light intensity is 3000-3500 lux,the optimum extraction time is 72 h,the best extraction amount obtained is 30.55mg/L.The extraction methods of coenzyme Q10 were studied,including alkali saponification method,organic solvent extraction method and ultrasonic wave method.The results show that the alkali saponification method is the best extraction method,and the method for further study found that when using petroleum ether extraction,refluxing temperature is 80 DEG,reflux time for extraction of coenzyme Q10 50 min can reach 38.98mg/L.After using the above method,the Q10 was separated and purified by thin layer chromatography?TLC?,and the best ratio of the catalyst was ethyl acetate: petroleum ether =1:4.5.PSB-B were treated by physical and chemical methods were simple,explored the lethal curve of UV treatment and DES,and then use the roxithromycin plate screening found the production of coenzyme Q10 in a new strain of the mutant reached 42.32mg/L,the maximum yield increased by 21.35% than before.However,after several generations of cultivation,the yield is not very stable.Photosynthetic bacteria as an energy source of microbial fuel cells,play a crucial role in the whole system,as a kind of extracellular exoelectrogen,because it is to discharge in vitro function,the microbial fuel cell power of this function can be achieved.As for the photosynthetic bacteria to light,it will produce a certain voltage and current,which when using white light irradiation,the maximum power voltage,up to 20mW/m2,and to add a certain amount of anode bacilli in yeast extract and sodium acetate,will affect the voltage,the optimum amount of 6g/L respectively.Finally,the relationship between the size of the surface area of the electrode and the power output is proportional to the larger the surface area of the electrode,the greater the power production.
