With the petrochemical industry to the large-scale development trend,the height of tower equipment is getting higher and higher,more than 15 aspect ratio equipment more and more.Chinese petrochemical production plant built in the southeast coast and high altitude areas,so perennial bear the wind in the.The destruction of the tower equipment caused by the wind induced vibration,failure and can not continue to put into use the situation is increasing,so the study of large high-neck tower equipment,vibration control measures have some engineering significance.In this paper,the wind-induced vibration mechanism and vibration reduction measures are briefly introduced,and then the vibration-damping mechanism and effect of tuned mass damper(TMD)are studied emphatically.In this paper,ANSYS finite element simulation software was used to analyze the strength of the tower with a diameter of 2.6 m,a diameter of 2.6 m and a wall thickness of 20 mm.The strength analysis,fatigue analysis and modal analysis were analyzed.And from the TMD damping mechanism and TMD application challenges faced by the design of quality ring tuned mass dampers.And the damping effect is analyzed theoretically and the finite element analysis.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The strength and fatigue analysis of the tower equipment in this paper are in accordance with JB/T 4732-1995(confirmed in 2005).(2)The maximum amplitude of the tower equipment under wind induced vibration is 1598mm,and certain measures must be taken to reduce its amplitude.(3)The quality loop tuned mass dampers designed in this paper can be considered without considering the arrangement scheme,and the steady-state response analysis of the vibration-damping effect installed on the tower equipment is analyzed.ANSYS analysis shows that the installation of the damper The maximum amplitude is 235mm,the damping rate is 85.3%,so the tuned mass damper has good damping effect.
