In recent years, with the continuous development of low-carbon economy, the issues between energy structure based on high-carbon energy with the development of green and ecological security have become increasingly prominent, coal washing as the most economical and effective coal cleaning technology has been widespread concern. The decanter centrifuge as a solid-liquid separation equipment using the principle of centrifugal sedimentation and spiral to achieve the separation of non-equal density mixture efficient dehydration equipment, it can be well applied to slime and flotation of coal dehydration process. This paper takes the LW800 centrifuge as the research object, with the best performance of solid-liquid separation as the research target, using the way of mathematical models, numerical simulation and experimental verification to study the law of fluid movement in the drum of the decanter centrifuge. For this purpose, the following aspects are studied:Firstly, this paper introduces the structural features, working principle and the characteristics of the separating material. Summarizes the influence of the key parameters and parameters on the separation performance of the centrifuge.Calculated the production capacity of decanter centrifuge based on ? theory.Secondly, The effect of slime particles on the screw conveyor in horizontal spiral centrifuge channel was studied, and the force of the screw conveyor is analyzed. Making the force analysis according to the force of the blade of the decanter centrifuge, check its strength, deformation to meet the requirements.Thirdly, Based on the basic equations of fluid mechanics, the mathematical model of liquid flow in centrifuge separation field is established. Simplify the centrifuge numerical simulation The fluid field in the channel is numerically simulated by using the fluid dynamics analysis software FLUENT .Numerical simulation of solid-liquid separation in the spiral flow channel of the decanter centrifuge was carried out by using the turbulence model. The law between velocity field and pressure field distribution were studied, and the relationship between flow field and separation performance was analyzed .Finally, the influence of the semi-cone angle of the decanter centrifuge on the separation performance of the decanter centrifuge is studied by numerical simulation of the state of the decanter centrifuge basin under different taper angle parameters.The results show that the optimal half cone angle of the decanter was 7 °. The experimental data and experimental results are similar to those of the decanter centrifuge at different half cone angles.
