In recent years,acrylic acid and its ester derivatives have been rapidly developed.Because the production process of acrylic acid will produce a large amount of high concentration organic wastewater,the vigorous development of acrylic acid market also has brought many challenges to the environment.This kind of wastewater has some special feature.The first is the large amount of volume dose.The second is some component in the wastewater which can be reused.The third is the water quality fluctuations.The effective methods for treating this kind of wastewater in domestic and foreign are direct combustion,catalytic wet oxidation and biological method.Because acrylic acid wastewater can not burn directly heavy oil should be added.In addition,the active ingredients in waste will automatically explode which will result in a large number of solid waste.At the same time,many valuable resources contained in waste water are also burned.In this paper,acrylic acid wastewater provided by a chemical plant in Jiangsu(such as not specifically referred to as wastewater)was made into chelating dispersant which can be used as soap agent in reactive dyes washing process.The study can be divided into two parts.The waste water are used as raw materials.At the guidance of free radical polymerization theory,sodium polyacrylate was compounded by acrylic acid monomer.The products were applied in soaping process.The anti staining performance test and the universality of polymerization processes were conducted.The effect of main components in the wastewater to synthetic products were explored.The feeding mode,pretreatment method,monomer dosage,monomer concentration,initiator,chain transfer agent,chelating reaction temperature and reaction time were discussed.The molecular weight of the copolymer,the property of sequestration and dispersion depends on reaction conditions.The soaping process was optimized.Anti staining performance tests wereconducted.The result showed that the treated fabric had a obvious promotion in anti staining ability compared with the blank sample.The product can wash floating color and improve the color fastness of dyed fabrics.The three content of substances in the wastewater(formaldehyde,acetic acid and maleic acid)were explored.The formaldehyde and acetic acid did not show promotion in the performance of product.While maleic acid has a positive effect.
