Prussian blue analogues(PBA)have lots of advantages and have been applied in electrochemistry, dye, storage gas and catalysis. In order to enhance the catalytic performances on the epoxidation of styrene,we had studied the modification of FeCo PBA by a series of alcohols, the preparation of CoFe(Ⅲ)PBA /noble metal Pt composites in this thesis.Furthermore,Prussian blue analogues were used to catalyze benzaldehyde acetal reaction for the first time.Firstly,FeCo PBA modified by a series of alcohols were prepared and investigated by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),X-ray powder diffraction(XRD),Scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and Thermogravimetry(TG),respectively. The effects of carbon number, branch number, hydroxyl number and hydroxyl position of alcohols on the morphology and structure of FeCo PBA·alcohol nanoparticles were studied. The catalytic abilities of Fe Co PBA·alcohol nanoparticles on the epoxidation of styrene were analyzed using gas chromatography. The results showed that the catalytic ability of FeCoPBA·1,4-butanediol was highest, yielding to a 97.8% conversion efficiency and a 63.5% selectivity in styrene oxide.Additionaly, the kinetic research of the epoxidation of styrene with Fe Co PBA·1,4-butanediol was also compared with those of Fe Co PBA.It was found that the apparent activation energy with FeCoPBA was 53.2 k J/mol,and that with Fe Co PBA·1,4-butanediol was reduced to 21.7 kJ/mol.Secondly,the composites of Co Fe(Ⅲ)PBA/Pt were prepared and characterized by FT-IR,XRD and TEM,respectively. And the catalytic properties on the epoxidation of styrene were carried out.It could be seen that the catalytic effect of CoFe(Ⅲ)PBA/Pt was much better than that of Co Fe(Ⅲ)PBA.Compared to CoFe(Ⅲ)PBA,the conversion efficiency of styrene was increase from 64.4% to 92.1% and selectivity in styrene oxide was enhanced from 18.7% to 64.7% with CoFe(Ⅲ)PBA/Pt.Finally,a series of Prussian blue analogues were used to catalyze the reaction of benzaldehyde acetal for the first time.To obtain the optimal catalytic conditions, the effect of reactant ratio, reaction temperature, reaction time and the amount of catalyst were studied by using Cu Fe(Ⅲ)PBA as a model catalyst. Then the catalytic performances of several PBA on the reaction of benzaldehyde acetal were studied under the optimal catalytic conditions. The results revealed that the catalytic effect of Cu Fe(Ⅲ)PBA was the best in these PBAs,the conversion efficiency of benzaldehyde was 96.8% and the selectivity in benzaldehyde glycol acetal as 100%.
