Because the titanium alloy has excellent properties of high specific strength,fracture toughness,heat resistance,corrosion resistance and so on,as well as the weldability,formability of materials,composite compatibility and other aspects of the prominent advantages,it has become a new type of lightweight structural materials for aerospace,marine engineering,chemical and nuclear industries.This paper is aimed at TC4(Ti-6Al-4V)titanium alloy from heated in furnace to rolled.It provides a theoretical basis for the whole heating and rolling process of TC4 titanium alloy plate.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Thermal deformation law of flow stress with temperature and strain rate is obtained via of the hot compression experiment of TC4 titanium alloy under the condition of isothermality and equals train rate.On this basis,the constitutive equation and general rules of TC4 thermal deformation of TC4 are established.The law of microstructure change is get under metalloscope after the material hot deformed.Through the above comprehensive analysis,drawing TC4 thermal processing,the optimum conditions of hot working of TC4 material are obtained.(2)Establish three dimensional finite element model of heating furnace of TC4 titanium alloy slab and simulate the process of heating TC4 titanium alloy slab in heating furnace before rolling.and then in Fluent conduct the analysis of fluid-solid-heat coupling in heating furnace getting the temperature field,velocity field and residual gas in the furnace in detail.Adjust the temperature of the heating furnace,and reach the optimum temperature of heating slab.The temperature distribution of slab is not uniform in thickness and length due to the burner,gas flow,cooling process and heat transfer of TC4 titanium alloy plate,therefore,the slab exists different temperatures.(3)According to the heating condition of the heating furnace,establish the three dimensional finite element model of rolling slab at different initial temperatures,then the finite element simulation of the rolling process is carried out in the three-dimensional finite element software Deform-3D.Finally,analyze the influences of initial temperature on the rolling characteristics of slab.
