| The composition of Traditional Chinese Medicines is complex,which contains not only Ca,Fe,Zn,Sn and other beneficial elements,but also Pb,As,Hg,S and other toxic elements.So how to determine the content of elements in Traditional Chinese medicine accurately and quickly is very essential.X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy as a new technology,had the advantages of rapid measurement,wide measurement range,simple operation,high detection efficiency etc.X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy had been widely used in different morphological samples of multi-element simultaneous determination.In this study,the Traditional Chinese Medicines were divided into three categories: rhizomes,flowers and fruits.According to different classification,we used different methods to prepare Chinese medicine simulation standard and established standard curves respectively.Then XRF method was used to determine the elements content.In addition,XRF was applied to the qualitative identification of sulfur fumigation samples.The main research contents included the following four aspects:(1)Rhizome: According to the results of ICP-AES,the Windproof samples with the lowest element content in Shanxi were selected as the blank matrix.And the standard solution of multi-element was added to it.Then the simulated standard was prepared by freeze-drying method which was used to establish the element standard curves.At the same time,the study also used ICP-AES method to verify the accuracy of the XRF test results.Conclusion: There was no significant difference in the mean value of XRF and ICP-AES,indicating that XRF was accurate and reliable which could be used for the determination of elemental content in Windproof.(2)Flowers: The chrysanthemum was selected as the research object.The high-temperature cooking method was used to reduce chrysanthemum elemental solubility and the standard solution of multi-element was added into it.Then the simulated standard was prepared by freeze-drying method which was used to establish the element standard curves.XRF determined the element content in samples and carried out methodological validation.Conclusion: XRF was fast and accurate which could be used to analysis the content of harmful elements in chrysanthemum samples.(3)Fruits: Hawthorn was selected as the research object.Based on the study of a lot of literatures,the main components of hawthorn samples were summarized.Themade of blank matrix was accorded to the quality ratio of the plant protein: glucose:cellulose: starch = 8: 3: 1: 1 and the standard solution of multi-element was added into it.Then the simulated standard was prepared by freeze-drying method which was used to establish the element standard curves.Conclusion: The preparation of simulated standard greatly broadened the range of the object to be measured.So it could be used in elemental analysis widely.(4)Sulfur fumigation: The XRF was used to identify sulfur fumigated honeysuckle samples.The blank matrix was prepared according to the ratio of cellulose: starch: plant protein = 45: 5: 3,then the standard solution of S、Co、Al、Pb、Cr and Fe was added into it.Then the simulated standard was prepared by freeze-drying method which was used to establish the element standard curves.XRF was used to determine the content of element in honeysuckle before and after sulfur fumigation,and two methods were used to identify sulfur fumigated honeysuckle:distinguish according to the content of S and Principal Component analysis(PC).Conclusion: XRF could achieve the qualitative identification of sulfur fumigated honeysuckle samples.In summary,XRF was simple,rapid and accurate,which was suitable for the rapid determination of multi-elements in Traditional Chinese Medicines. |
