As a kind of precision of rolling function units,hybrid ceramic linear ball rolling guideway not only inherits prime advantages of the metal guideway but also make up for its deficiencies.The contact characteristics and dynamic performance of the linear ball rolling guideway have played a very important role in structure design and structure dynamic optimization.For further researching on hybrid ceramic ball rolling guideway and laiding a theoretical basis,based on the analysis platform of HGH30CA ball rolling guideway,this paper comparatively analysis the internal contact characteristics and dynamics performance of linear rolling guideway with GCr15 balls and Si3N4 balls.Firstly,in the study of internal contact characteristic,simplified contact model is established based on Hertz contact theory,and the impact of contact characteristics are analysed in the parameters of normal contact load,the adapting degree etc.,with two different materials of balls in the linear rolling guideway.And the results of finite element analysis method and theoretical analysis have a good consistency.Then in the analysis of the dynamic characteristics,the dynamic characteristic analytical model is established and Lagrange equation is used to solve analytical model.Meanwhile,structure parameters,the number of balls and the adapting degree on the guide with different material of balls are analyzed comparatively to get the impact of the modal.The error between the finite element analysis simulation of the modal analysis and the theoretical analysis is in the controllable range.Based on the Dynamic theory,the movement of balls,including rolling,sliding motion and rotation motion in the resisting area,are analyzed.Thus the calculation formula of the speed of the balls and its rolling-rotating ratio are developed.And the impact of the slip ratio about the adapting degree,the normal contact load and the ball diameter are analyzed comparatively on the different material of balls.The collision model between the ball and the returning implement is established to get the formula of the parameters of the collapsing force and of the returning structure for analyzing the factors affecting the collapsing force.And the installation error of he returning implement to the collision are analyzed.By using the virtual software ADAMS for the dynamic simulation,which including the collsion between ball with two different materials and returning implement,the results between the simulation and the theoretical analysis have good consistency.
