In recent years,China's machinery,electric power,automotive and household appliances industry has been extremely rapid development,the demand for cold rolled strip is increasing year by year.The production of cold rolled strip is more difficult,and the technical equipment level is higher.For stainless steel,silicon steel and alloy steel which is difficult to deform,as well as high accuracy,wide and thin,ultra-thin strip steel are usually produced by multi-roll mill.Among them,the development of the 20-high rolling mill is the most perfect,the most widely used,and it has many kinds of structure forms in the process of continuous development.Therefore,the design and development of multi-roll mill,especially the 20-high rolling mill has great practical significance and application value.In this paper,a new-type of 20-high rolling cold strip mill is studied.Based on the full understanding of the mill structure,used the large-scale finite element software MSC.Marc to establish the three dimensional model and make finite element analysis.By setting up different ASU regulation conditions,the bearing roll gap curves under different ASU conditions were obtained.Then it analyzed the effect of adjusting ASU on loaded roll gap shape changes,and further explored the different conditions for ASU regulation influence of the quadric crown,quartic crown and wedge.Based on a full understanding of the basic principle of the first intermediate roll shifting of the 20-high rolling mill,established the first intermediate roll model with different taper.And the simulation results under different working conditions and the roll gap curves under different working conditions were obtained.It also explored the different operating conditions of the effect of regulation quadric crown and quartic crown,and analysed the first intermediate roll axial shift on the roll transverse stiffness and edge drop.
